He was appointed Head of Family Office Services and Philanthropy Advisory Asia Pacific in December, 2011. In this expanded role, Mr Fung is responsible for leading the formulation and execution of appropriate family office and philanthropy solutions for local and regional ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Mr Fung has over 15 years of experience in private investing on behalf of organizations with a long term value added orientation. Since 2005, he was Chief Executive of Innotech Advisers Ltd, the London-based single family office and investment vehicle of Lord Sainsbury of Turville, having joined as its Investment Director in 2003. Together with the first chief executive, he was responsible for the conceptualization, strategy and on-the-ground implementation of an impact investment program that started up sustainable food businesses in rural Mozambique. Mozfoods, the holding company for all these businesses, was for several years the only local company whose exports were certified under the stringent European and International food and factory standards.
Mr Fung is Singaporean and holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, both degrees obtained with the highest honors from the Australian National University.
